Bihar Opinion Polls Result 2015: Half of Muslim voters to back NDA ...


Bihar, Sep 19: According to a Opinion Poll survey conducted by Zee Group, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with its allies may have a great victory this assembly elections in Bihar. As per the reports of ‘Janata Ka Mood’ survey the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led  National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may get 140 seats. While the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar-led grand secular alliance, comprising Janata Dal (U), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress will win 70 seats. (Also Read: NDA to win majority with 140 seats, Grand Alliance may get 70, says Zee News survey)

Surprisingly, the survey also predicted that the both NDA and the Grand alliance will be equally favored by Muslim vote bank in the state. The survey says that 41.2 percent Muslim voters preferred Modi’s NDA while 52.4 percent of Muslim vote bank backed Nitish Kumar’s Grand Alliance . While the poll also said that 52.6 per cent Hindu voters would vote for Modi’s alliance and 40.8 per cent will back Grand Allliance and Others may get 6 pre cent.

The pre poll survey suggests that 50.8 percent electorate is expected to vote for NDA, while 42.5 percent for grand alliance and 6.7 percent will opt for Others. Furthermore, the women voters in Bihar also want the Modi-led NDA. 52 percent women electorate is expected to go to NDA, 40.5 percent to Nitish-led alliance and 7.5 percent will opt for Others.

Polls to the 243-seat Assembly would be held in a five phase election starting from October 12, 16, 28 to November 1 and 5.
