DECK THE HALLS WITH BOUGHS OF CLARKSON FALALALALALA!

Kelly Clarkson is apparently recording a Christmas album, and, according to a few Internet hotspots, she revealed the info during an online chat, and the record will feature production work, in some capacity or other, by Greg Kurstin (who previously did up Clarkson’s most recent #1 smash “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”). Ronnie Dunn, of country duo Brooks & Dunn, also let the cat out of the bag on Facebook a few days ago: “I like Kelly Clarkson…..I’m singing on her Christmas record :)”

We’re decking the halls, hauling out the holly, etc. already!

The news of Kelluminescent Clarkson’s forthcoming holiday gift to the music-hungry masses comes just as she’s set to return to American Idol tonight (April 11) for a live performance. She was, of course, the very first contestant to be crowned winner of Idol, back in 2002.

Kelly also hit the stage at the American Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last weekend, where she belted out her Greatest Hits offering “Don’t Rush.”

I'm already decked out in holly and mistletoe. I've been waiting for a Christmas album since she sang My Grown Up Christmas List. I can't wait. #TisTheSeasonYall
