While reports circulate that Brittany Kerr is the reason behind the collapse of country star Jason Aldean’s marriage to wife Jessica Ussery, the mother of the sexy 24-year-old Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview “that it’s simply not true.”
“Brittany is not responsible for any breakup,” Debbie Kerr told Radar from her Charlotte, North Carolina home.
“As her mom I would know. She doesn’t even live in L.A. anymore, she lives right here in town. Brittany is single right now, but she was never with that married man.”
The gorgeous season 11 American Idol contestant made headlines when she and the 36-year-old Don’t You Wanna Stay singer were caught on tape making out at a bar in Hollywood back in September.
The video went viral, and the two were forced to admit their indiscretion.
Brittany, who admitted to a “lapse in judgment,” said in statement: “I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family.”
Jason blamed the incident on the intake of too much alcohol and also issued a public apology for “embarrassing” his family.
The country star married Jessica, his childhood sweetheart, in 2001 and they have two daughters, Keeley, 10, and Kendyl, 5.
