Looks like we’re not the only ones who aren’t jazzed about Chris Brown and Rihanna’s relationship. In a recent interview with NY Daily News, Chris Brown’s dad Clinton Brown spoke candidly about feelings about the couple.
“I personally reall didn’t want him and Rihanna back together,” he admits. “You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”
Even though Clinton admits to liking Rihanna – even saying that she would make a good mother given she changes her wild partying antics – he fears that their relationship will end in tragedy, similar to other famously tumultuous relationships.
“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!” Clinton explains.
When asked who he thinks would be great for his son, Clinton names American Idol winner and one-time collaborator of Chris’, Jordin Sparks.
“I personally liked Jordin Sparks. She’s a wholesome young lady, very pretty.”
Wholesome – definitely not a word that would get within 10 metres of Rihanna.
