American Idol is known more for the judges’ arguments and fights than the performances of the contestants and this episode was another chapter in the series. Minaj and Mariah differed over the performance of Kree Harrison who tried to put the best foot forward as a finalist by singing ‘She Talks to Angels’ sung by Black Crowes.
The judge duo shared a moment of contention which was soon made up by Minaj who in the later part of show appreciated Mariah’s work in ‘When You Believe’, a song which brought Maria and Late Ms Houston in the rarest combination of its kind.
