This is the heart-stopping moment strong gusts blew the world’s largest passenger plane to one side as it attempted to touch down in Germany.
Dramatic footage of the landing shows the huge Emirates A380 battling fierce crosswinds during its runway approach at Dusseldorf International Airport.
The plane appears to be tilted to the side moments before hitting the tarmac. It sways to the left as its right wheels make contact with the runway.
The video has been viewed more than 1 million times since YouTube user Cargospotter published it over the weekend.
“I have filmed lots of crosswind landings within the past four years but this was the first time I was able to film an A380 crosswind landing,” the user wrote.

“All crosswind Landings are amazing but seeing an A380 fighting against the wind was something special.”
The runway was also “very wet” from an earlier storm, Cargospotter said.
Pilots of the giant double-decker airplane were able to make a safe landing.
The roughly 230-foot plane carries up to 853 passengers, BGR reported. It requires at least 1.27 million pounds to take off.
