Just weeks after debuting a brand new single “Can’t Break Me Down,” the ultimate 80s punk rebel Billy Idol is making a triumphant comeback to music after an eight-year absence since his last album in 2006.
Now with a new memoir and album due out this month, Idol is keeping the momentum going by announcing a 2015 North American tour, “Kings & Queens of the Underground Live” according to USA Today. The tour kicks off January 21st in New Orleans and wraps up right here in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on February 18th, though more dates are expected to be announced.
His memoir Dancing With Myself hits shelves tomorrow (Oct. 7) while his new album Kings & Queens of the Underground is due on Oct. 21.
You can meet Billy Idol in person at his book signing at LA’s Book Soup on October 11 at 4:00pm. Tickets for most dates on his tour go on sale this Friday on billyidol.net.
