X Factor 2014: Overload, Pow Pow Girls & the new girl group BATTLE in a sing-off at Boot Camp!
It has been one hell of a weekend on The X Factor, as Boot Camp has been BRUTAL! We have never, in all the years of The X Factor seen a Boot Camp like it. There’s been swaps, changes, controversial decisions, the crowd wanting to lynch Cheryl FV, and now, this final decision…
Boot Camp boils down to this one final decision, as The Pow Pow Girls, Overload, and the new Girl Group go head to head in a sing-off.

Only The Young is another band who seem to have ‘it’. Whenever they perform on The X Factor – whether it be their room audition, or arena audition – there always seems to be something special about them.
However, the groups category is very tough this year and competition is potentially higher than it has ever been, so only the best of the best can go through. But then again, this is Louis Walsh we’re talking about.

Concept, which includes Harry Styles’ cousin Ben Selley, is made up of Ben, Karim, Scott, Matt, and Nathan, who are all aged 20.
In their initial room audition, they won nothing but praise from the judges, with the likes of Mel B telling them that their “vibe and style” just worked, and we agree… there seems to be something about this band.

As we reported earlier today, a new boy band has been put together at boot camp, and so has a new girl group.
There were a number of girls who auditioned for the show and got through to Boot Camp, but the judges thought that they weren’t solo material, so they had to let go of them… until now.

UPDATED: X Factor 2014: Only The Young STUN Mel B & steal Overload’s seat!
Improvement is good on The X Factor, but consistency is also key. If the judges can see that an act is either improving or is staying consistently brilliant, then they will end up in their good books.
Overload is a band who have stayed consistent the whole way through the competition so far. There may have been small improvements, but their standard has always been very high, and with it being a tough category, they’re going to have to fight to earn a place at Judges’ Houses.

There seems to be a thing with big bands on this year’s series of The X Factor, as the Pow Pow Girls are yet another massive girl band.
The Pow Pow Girls is a seven-piece girl band made up of Danni, Grace, Sophie, Sophie, Mel, Kate and Charis, and they’re all aged between 21 and 24.

In their first audition, Blonde Electric were classed as “annoying” by Simon Cowell, but upon saying that, there was something he liked about the pair. So much so, they ended up going through to the arena auditions.
Their audition at the arenas wasn’t really much to scream from the roof top about, but somehow, they’ve managed to pull their way through to the Boot Camp stage.

It has become a bit of a tradition to put together boy bands at boot camp, consisting of those who aren’t good enough to go on as soloists. Let’s not forget, One Direction were put together during X Factor, as they all auditioned individually, and look at the amount of success they have had so far.
On this evening’s show, we will see a new boy band put together made up of a number of lads who failed to make it through the first day of Boot Camp, but how did they do?

The competition is so stiff in the bands category this year. There’s so many amazing bands out there who have auditioned for the show, but throughout the auditions process, it didn’t seem like there were many decent ones.
Well, we were mistaken, as when you put them all on a stage one at the back of each other, you really see the talent, and you can see how much some acts have improved. The Brooks – made up of 15-year-old twin brothers – have improved a lot since their first audition, and it seems Simon likes them.

We love a good underdog when it comes to The X Factor, and it seems Helen Fulthorpe is one of those types of people on this year’s competition.
She didn’t have the confidence to fill in the application herself, so her kids did it for her, and when she walked into the room audition, we all thought she was just going to be another of those contestants. Turns out, we were very wrong as Helen’s voice is like pure gold.
