If you’ve been reading this blog for any time at all, you probably know that I’m a sucker for stories about people who persist in doing what they love even if the odds are against them. This handsome young man has been in the media recently for his appearance on American Idol, but what really got my attention is his prowess as a dancer despite losing a leg to cancer at the age of 20.
Readers, meet Evan Ruggiero, cancer survivor, charming singer, college-trained actor and, against all odds, amazing tap dancer! It’s people like Evan who inspire me to do my best, and I hope life is treating him better these days.
