Casey Abrams
Diamond Valley Art Council leaders are excited that their Sunday, Feb. 17, Seahawk with Marshall Hawkins and Casey Abrams concert at the Esplanade Arts Center in San Jacinto was a quick sell out.
I’m not surprised.
Hawkins, a highly regarded bassist, offered to bring his accomplished Seahawk jazz band to San Jacinto for the 6:30 p.m. Sunday show since the players will be together this weekend in Idyllwild. American Idol star Abrams will join the band for a few numbers.
Because of the sellout, no tickets will be available at the door.
Abrams was Hawkins jazz student at Idyllwild Arts Academy. Abrams calls Hawkins his mentor.
