Jessica Sanchez is a busy gal. After being bested by crooner Phillip Phillips in the most recent season of American Idol, she’s already been seen singing her heart out at two major sporting events.
Last Saturday, Jessica sang before the WBO welterweight title fight between fellow Filipino Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley Jr.
Tuesday night, before Game 1 of the Heat vs. Thunder NBA finals game, Jessica showed off her diva vocal skills once again.
Meanwhile, Phillip Phillips hasn’t been riding the high post-AI wave as quickly. As you may know, he was sick throughout the duration of the show and is now recovering from kidney surgery in California. While he and his family were away, their pawn shop back in Georgia was burglarized. The thieves took the entire cash register and a few other items. Fortunately nobody was harmed.
Hopefully, Phillip will recuperate as soon as possible and get started on his music career. I’m sure a lot of young women are waiting for his first album.
So far, Jessica Sanchez has performed at two events that involve two prominent Filipinos. Is that going to be her thing? Hopefully not.
